Pastor Jennifer Lucas leads Water’s Edge United Methodist Church with a heart for worship, preaching and community. Not only is she a pastor who leads, listens, and inspires, but Jenn is a wife, mother, citizen, and community leader, too. She not only understands the challenges we all face as we strive to walk with Jesus Christ, but she lives it! Jenn shares in the successes and struggles of those at Water’s Edge, even as she helps lead them to a life fulfilled by God’s word.

Pastor Jenn served at Faith Community United Methodist Church in West Chester for two years before fulfilling her mission of establishing, in Mason, an extension of Faith Community. Water’s Edge UMC began meeting for public worship and fellowship in Mason in March 2007. She is a graduate of the University of Toledo and earned her Masters of Divinity from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Before coming to Southwestern Ohio, she served First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg, Ohio, as both a part-time and full-time Associate Pastor. While there, Pastor Jenn worked closely with the Youth Ministry program, creating new programs, service projects and teen Bible studies in addition to creating a new praise and worship service for the church.      

Born and raised Toledo area, Pastor Jenn now lives in West Chester with her husband Troy and their sons, Evan and Carter. Troy is a Physical Therapist at a local hospital and is an active part of the Water’s Edge team and children's small group facilitator. The Lucas family would love to meet you!
