One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."

He said to them,

"Our Father in Heaven,
hallowed be your name.

Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.

Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory forever and ever. Amen"
