Pastor
Jennifer Lucas leads Water’s Edge United
Methodist Church – A Faith Community Extension
with a heart for worship, preaching and reaching
the lost. Pastor Jenn served at Faith Community
United Methodist Church in West Chester, Ohio
for two years with the purpose of establishing
an extension campus. After successfully building
a team and establishing an extension plan,
Water’s Edge UMC began meeting for worship and
education at Manor House in Mason, Ohio in
January 2007.
Pastor Jenn is a graduate of the University of
Toledo and earned her Masters of Divinity from
the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.. Before
coming to Southwestern Ohio she previously
served First United Methodist Church in
Perrysburg, Ohio as both a part-time and
full-time Associate Pastor. While there, Pastor
Jenn worked closely with the Youth Ministry
program, creating new programs, service projects
and teen Bible studies in addition to creating a
new praise and worship service for the church.
Pastor Jenn and her husband Troy were born and
raised in the Toledo area and currently live in
West Chester, Ohio. Troy works as a Physical
Therapist in a local hospital. He is an active
part of the Water’s Edge leadership team and
serves as a children's small group facilitator.
Pastor Jenn and Troy are the proud parents of
two sons - Evan and Carter.
